After nearly 80 years as Carkner’s Family Vision Care, we are excited to announce a change of name to Peak Vision Clinic and a change of location for our Tualatin clinic!

While we may be retiring the Carkner name from our storefront, rest assured that we will continue to embody the same passion and devotion to eye care that our founder, Dr. Clarence Carkner brought forth as one of the pioneers of Oregon optometry so many years ago.

As a way to celebrate our rich history and legacy as an institution of Oregon eye care, we have installed a ‘Legacy Wall’ at our Portland clinic, featuring historical highlights and artifacts collected across decades of serving this community. We invite you to check it out the next time you’re in.
